Of hindsight, 180s, pies and returns

Hey to everyone who is still here!

Just to bring you up to date on a few things:

First, the whole attempt to hand off GoV to a new dev team, where I'd only have to contribute some graphics and minor help here and there so I could focus on HHR, fell apart in late January before it even could properly take off.
That was one reason I was so down in Feb, since I wasn't sure how to deal with the fallout.

Hindsight is 20/20, but it doesn't change that in hindsight I probably should've simply either released HHR later, or taken a normal break from GoV, instead of wasting time and energy on an attempt to create a 2nd dev team, as the whole thing cost me more time and nerves than it should have.
I guess I was just too burned out for my brain to make the right decisions back then.
Unfortunate, but it happens.

Second, the other day I played some darts and threw a 180. I was pretty proud of that.

What I'm less proud of, since it's rather embarassing, is the 180 I'm going to pull now:
GoV will return to patreon (and stay for good this time, yeah).
Since Xtone has nearly caught up to me in KK handling and got a better grasp of the "vibe" GoV is going for as well, we should be able to update it enough without slowing down HHR much (not that HHR went exactly fast yet, which I still want to fix with 0.3 onwards).
Early access to GoV updates will be added to the existing 5$ and above tiers with the next GoV update, which will be this week.
For the lower tiers, we'll keep the split between here and SubStar for now, but that may still change later.

Third, HHR 0.2 is making progress but will still take a while longer.
I think it'll be worth the wait either way, but now at least you also have new GoV stuff to pass some time.

Anyway, that's all for now.
I'll now go back to eating my humble pie while working on the games, so we can give you actual game content instead of embarassing posts, and put the chaos and mishaps of the last ~4 months behind us as soon as possible.
