I'm looking forward to the continuation here, and the horrific elements. So far, Saul has utterly dominated Mark, and will likely continue to do so. Mark is drugged, impotent, his game is off. In this state, he's confused, ineffective, even submissive. He just keeps feeling trapped. He's responsive, but struggles for initiative. Saul, meantime, has positioned himself like a spider over the information flow. He can frame Mark for grand theft auto, if he wants. He has a complete Agenda and is following it - even if that Agenda is no more complicated than fucking Mark over and fucking his wife. The point is that Saul has all the initiative, and has had the initiative all along. He has an idea, he follows it. Mark tries something, Saul has him outmatched and dances around it. Brooke also has agency. But she's pregnant, stuck with a husband who no longer seems to desire her, and who has been getting weirder and less effective.... and a man who does desire her and who has been performing. But she's literally the only one that can make free choices at this point. Instead, she's going along, to please her husband.

There's something nightmarish about Mark's situation, he's losing ground everywhere in his life - his work, his health, his sex life, his wife. On the surface, everything is normal, it's just that everything is getting worse and worse. And the very worst part, is that there's this loser that he's never respected, who is steadily emasculating him. Mark isn't a cuck, not a willing one. But somehow, he's in this hole that keeps getting deeper. I'm fascinated to see how deep the hole gets for him. Honestly, I don't want Mark to win or come out on top, I think deep down, he's always been a selfish arrogant jerk who has always had things handed to him.

2024-03-23 16:58:48 +0000 UTCI'll give my two cents here: I am personally enjoying this story almost as much as TA especially considering that it is still in its earlier chapters. I honestly see a lot of potential. I understand that some people only want to read Toxic Attraction. But it's not like Don gave up on TA (he literally released a chapter last month) and with this chapter you can feel that his writing is just getting hotter and hotter which will definitely translate into Toxic Attraction. And if Don as a writer feels like writing different things why not let him. Although these stories have some similarities, they are definitely different. Different settings, Dan feels different from Mark and Saul feels different from Lester, love to see Brooke finally getting some character development this chapter. I would love if the story went into the direction of Mark slowly accepting and breaking, getting turned on by this whole situation. Seeing him conflicted in chapter 2 was really hot in my opinion. I also think it was super hot to see Brooke openly declaring about Mark's inability to satisfy her which added an extra layer of intensity. It would be hot if this topic kept being brought up in her next scenes with Saul. Imagine this: Brooke recording herself (with the intention of sending it to Mark) giving a mind-blowing blowjob to Saul, teasing Mark in the video about how Saul’s cock is bigger and can actually get hard, and send the video to Marks phone only for Saul to also receive it and actually deleting it from Mark's phone and being the first one to show it to Mark’s face which in turn makes him secretly turned on by the humiliation from his wife. For me the late game would be to see this story ultimately developing in to Brooke surrendering herself to Saul right in front of Mark, with Mark helpless because he knows that Brooke is enjoying it and guiltily getting turned on by it. It would be hot if he can't even get hard in the beginning because of the medicine Saul is giving him and Brooke taunts him until he gets aroused in the middle of it, and starts to believe that he's liking it and starts stroking his cock to Brooke being a nasty slut for another man right in front of him. To me, seeing the story leading to Mark conditioning himself into liking this whole situation would be the hottest thing ever. Thanks for the chapter Don, it’s really hot, love the dialogue and I could always use more but 10/10
