Hello everyone!

It's been a hot minute since I've posted on Patreon. I thought now would be a good idea to revive the posts here rather than relying on Discord to get information to everyone.

What a better return to Patreon news than the announcement that Expansion 2 details are on the way - for Patrons only!

If you're new to how Patreon works for Melvor Idle - we always release information about upcoming updates and Expansions to Patrons well before the general public. It's one of the benefits of providing extra support to Melvor Idle and our team.

Benefits also include being able to access Major Updates well before the public. This benefit is also true for upcoming Expansions. Generally, the upcoming Expansion will be available to play test for months before public release.

Expansion 2

Development is coming along fantastic for the Expansion, and we are in early preparations to begin announcing details to Patrons about what to expect. This also means that the initial test for Expansion 2 is close!

How Expansion testing works

When we release the Test server for Expansion 2, it is important to note that you are not testing a final product. Features will still be missing, artwork yet to be completed, balance will be completely off, and many mechanics will change at a rapid pace.

Getting an expansion out early to test means we can acquire initial feedback on core mechanics, catch bugs and rectify them early, and also be able to know what kind of release timeline we want to achieve.
