The group wanking session on Shane's first day made me think back to Mark's start at Kingswood. If the group had been their normal selves, they may have done something similar. And that would have short circuited Mark's brain in that fresh off of King Edwards state. Even them doing it after lights out, when he could only hear them, was almost too much to believe for him.

The introductions to Shane, and vice-versa, were a good way to go more into their personalities. Plus it's our first time seeing how a normal introduction of a new student to an existing group goes, Mark's introduction happened in a very specific circumstance that made it everything but normal. We can feel the weight of the Axel situation on the group, the way they react any time anything vaguely relates to him shows how much it affects all of them. Mr. Trent made a good point about biases that makes it a good idea for Milo to not tell Shane right away, but I hope he tells him later. David vaguely mentioned his having been expelled for doing something horrible, at a later point than this story. Shane's reaction makes me think he'll take it well. The claim that Shane will love David shows the fun of posting a story after we already have later information, that did not go how they planned it. And the statement that David and Rob are low maintenance is amusingly untrue with what we know about David voyeurism and the entirety of how Rob acted after that was revealed. But, of the course, The Lads don't know about that. Then there's a bunch of stuff that's just fun to read. Such as Shane's reactions while getting a crash course on the mentors' traumatic moments. The competition between Nicky's and Mark's mentees about their mentors dicks. And how much they take upon their mentors, not just individually, but also as a group with their sexual inhibition in front of each other.

I will have more comments later I'm sure, but just a few off the top of my head. I absolutely adored this - can't wait until whenever we get the next part. Getting to see The Lads interacting with each other this way was amazing. I love them so much more now. There were bits of it that remind me so much of our own guys when they were in Year Eight. The fact that they believe our guys are functioning because of The Lads' support is so sweet. And maybe not totally wrong. It says a lot about the bond between the mentors and mentees. I know it wasn't meant this way, but Avery's "Remember the pterodactyl!" struck me as funny. It made me think of a battle cry. Based on the huge personalities The Lads reveal in this story, it almost seems like something they would choose as one. It's a true shame that there isn't time for a whole Kingswood 2.0, with The Lads as main characters. Great work with satisfying our need for more of The Lads! I feel a bit like Christmas has come early for me this year.
