It really makes me happy to see readers so attached to the characters. I have utterly fallen in love with writing them and knowing they're being appreciated is just wonderful. And thank you for the compliment. I certainly do have a lot of ideas stored up, both originals and potential sequels. Who knows what will grab me when I finish the main Kingswood Saga, but I'm excited to find out. As for your own writing, posting on Nifty.org really helped build my confidence. You should definitely start sharing when you feel ready, and I'm sure you'll do great

2025-11-02 12:50:10 +0000 UTCI'm with you on the embarrassment stories. Finding ones with that sweet spot can be difficult. Matt has shown he can do that, so I'm looking forward to these. And now I have to go re-read all your comments with replies from Matt to see what may have been hinted.

2025-11-01 12:42:57 +0000 UTCYay! Bonus content coming! I'm looking forward to all of it. Whatever shall we do with the holes in our hearts that Kingswood fills when our boys leave? They may be your creation, but Danny and all the others have become ours as time passed. I know this story has taken on a life you may have only vaguely imagined when you began. Know that trauma and all, it's much-loved, as are you, Matt. You must have had to set a lot of story ideas to the side over these past few years. We look forward to all the stories you have left to tell. I envy you for being a planner; I am a spontaneous writer myself. I won't use the word pantser, as it conjures up something totally different and naughty in my mind. I am still trying to work up the courage to put my own writing out there. Perhaps by the time our boys have left Kingswood in a few years, I will have found my courage.

2025-11-01 12:37:29 +0000 UTCOh no, book 6 will have more chapters, how awful! What you just said about more focus on the trauma plots makes me more excited for it. We've been seeing the payoff of the characters improving their mental health, with all of them having gotten it somewhat under control in book 5 or earlier. So I see how it would make sense for book 6 to focus more on the long term effects, after having cleared that initial barrier. I hope that bonus Kingswood chapter is what your reply to a comment of mine on a recent chapter seems to imply. That's something I'd really like to see. As for the mini stories, once you multiply mini by 30 days in the month, it adds up. My views on embarrassment stories depend, I enjoy them if I feel like they're not too mean for the character* There's a sweet spot where a story is embarrassing enough to be hot, but not so embarrassing that I just become sad for the character. *Edit: Or if they're mean as payback to characters who deserve it.
