December 2024 Update

I'm sorry I've been quiet last week, I got pretty sick so I was not at my most productive, but I'm feeling better now so I'm gonna do my best to get back on track!

The Canadian government has imposed a break on the Canada Post strike which means I will be able to FINALLY send out the November rewards. I got them printed and am planning to get them ready over the weekend to send out on Monday.

Please keep in mind that the postal services are pretty backed up here on top of it being holiday season so there might be a bit of a wait before you receive your prints, but rest assured that they're on the way.

🎅 Holiday Schedule 🎄

I took two days off while I was sick and, as I mentioned earlier, wasn't at the top of my game on my work days. This is why I will not take an extended holiday break this year but I still need to take a few days to attend social (and familial) functions. 

I will be off on December 25th, 28th, and 29th.
And I will be working half days on December 26th and 30th as well as on January 1st.

🙆‍♂️ How's Ollie? 🤷‍♂️

Ngl, I've been feeling like poop for over a week now so it feels good to finally get to breathe (literally) after battling the mutant flu. I am a little bit disappointed that I didn't manage to create more holiday art and that I'm not done with A Father's Heart yet, but I don't wanna let this beat me down. I'm very proud of the episode and if it takes longer to make it the best that I can, then I'll take the time it takes.

I'm VERY excited for the stuff I have planned for 2025. I have already discussed some of my projects on the server (and teased the big one on Bluesky) so IYKYK, but I'm a little nervous to make the official announcement. It's something that might be a bit surprising to some, but it's VERY necessary for the future of Cabaret Bara. So I promise it will be worth it.

I'm also very excited to get back to work on the tarot and the calendar. Hopefully I'll manage to get a few images done in those series in January.
