I think the My Bara Boyfriend format is a good way to showcase the characters in different fun and sexy looks, include some meta humor, and try new stuff while also showing more of their personality beyond what's explored in the comics.
With several versions of each character, the possibilities are endless so it's a concept that I would like to bring back from time to time and it could go on pretty much forever.
This "Pride 2024 Edition" was intended to gauge your interest in the idea basically.

I personally enjoyed it a lot, but your enjoyment of my projects matters a lot to me too and if it's something that most of y'all found boring, I'd rather leave it behind entirely.
So my question to you is...

Hahaha I mean not liking it would be very fair imho. I try stuff that I *think* would fit with the Cabaret Bara "brand", but I know not everything is gonna be a win. I'm trying to walk the line between doing what I want and pleasing my supporters.

2024-06-20 23:49:39 +0000 UTCDefinitely see that… like I appreciate the background glimpses and I wouldn’t be upset if you even kept going with them… there’s literally nothing wrong with the series and I’ve enjoyed each one but like… with D&D or Tarot or others I got the notification and drop everything to immediately click & see the new posts and these I was like “yay new post, exciting” because I legit enjoy everything you’ve put out… but I’d wait until I was done whatever I was doing before checking the link

2024-06-20 21:42:41 +0000 UTCOh absolutely! I didn't mean to suggest I'd be making more right now! It's more intended as a recurrent art series that we could revisit between projects. Similarly to FanService, they're not as big a time investment as making a whole episode and I thought it would be a good way to address people criticizing the fact that not all the characters get the spotlight.

2024-06-20 18:38:23 +0000 UTCI voted “like” only because I know you have limited time and there are other things I would personally choose ahead of these but if that wasn’t a factor I’d say I love them… they’re a great way to introduce more personality and backstory to characters without having to include exposition in the actual storyboards like establishing Ben as a pride volunteer and carrying naloxone with him, which gives us an insight into his true character being kind and helpful despite being kinda aloof and a bit of a dick at the bar… and then I wonder if he’s just kind and thoughtful or if there’s some traumatic experience that compelled him to carry narcan… etc etc
