Yeah, it's most likely the art style they're talking about. That's the one complaint I've consistently seen while browsing content related to DC. I think even TAD has commented on that a few times, how he would see a clip of a later episode and that the characters looked weird to him

2022-12-08 21:46:25 +0000 UTCI don't think it's the animation people complain about, but the color. For something like 200 episodes DC will have very flashy colors that viewers don't really like. But animation is what it is, DC is not a fighting anime like Naruto, so it's normal that the animation is much more static than what we could expect from anime like that.
