Yeah, Makoto is insane lol I suppose because of this, he ends up receiving the Yusaku (Shinichi's dad) treatment, where they're heavily limited in appearances because they're too OP (Makoto for his strength and generally being unbeatable, and Yusaku for being able to solve cases much faster and with less clues). And yeah, you're sadly right lol you won't see him for a long time. He's mentioned a few times after this but his next actual appearance is in the 700s lol
