Meet Rinko - The Teacher - v0.1.2

This week's character is Rinko, a teacher at the school.

Rinko is one of the younger teachers at the school. She's still trying to prove herself to the rest of the staff and puts in long hours. You can find her in the faculty office hard at work. I'm sure you can convince her to take a break though.

Rinko is the first character that you need buy the apartment before she'll let you into seduction mode. She'll just dismiss you as a child until you do.

I wanted to be sure to include Rinko in v0.1.2, since right now, the only character you unlock when you buy the apartment is... Sandy. And you have to pay her. And while on the dev side I always make the Sandy scene first, in game it's probably just a reskin of scenes you've already seen. The only other possible scene you can get is the secret scene with Mirai, but at least for now, that's only a one-off scene. I wanted to make sure there was an actual character to seduce once you buy the apartment as soon as possible. So that hopefully it feels a little more worth it.

Insipiration

Rinko's primary inspiration is Rinko Minami from the game "My Own School Infirmary" by ALICESOFT. I kept a lot of ideas from the original design, but reworked them quite a bit. The art style is very different, and I also wanted to make her a bit more provocative. So I got rid of the ascot, gave her a much shorter skirt, made her hair a bit more natural, and then had her bra exposed. I even made it a lace bra, which I had never done before and it was a nightmare. Never again lol. I also modified the color scheme a bit. It's still overall the same with the red suit and purple hair, I just made everything a bit darker and more saturated. Then I gave her some pantyhose to bring the look together.

Most of the women in Waifu Wonderland so far have been MILF types. The big ass, big boobs, and a little older type. So I wanted to make Rinko a bit different. To do that I used a a secondary inspiration, Bayonetta, and made Rinko a bit skinner and stretched out certain parts to mix in some Bayo elements. Nowhere near as ridiculous as her actual proportions though.

Character Types in WW 

Waifu Wonderland is meant to have a wide variety of types, I just started with mostly thicc MILFs because... I like thicc MILFs, but also because you start in a surburban neighborhood. It makes sense for there to be a lot of MILFs. Speaking of which, there's definitely more of those coming, especially as I finishing filling up the neighborhood. The other character planned to be included in v0.1.2 is your neighbor on the left, Akari. She was originally planned for v0.1 to be the character outside your house, but I decided to replace her with Angela. Otherwise, the first few scenes would have just been all MILFs, and I wanted to be sure to show people that the game will have more than that. As well as show people that some characters will have a story. Each area is meant to have a sort of theme, with some variation mixed in. The neighborhood is mostly MILFs, the apartments are going to be a lot of younger single women, the hospital will be mostly nurses, etc.

Public Posts are now "Member Only" Posts

Recently I had a public post get blocked for violating community guidelines because of there being 18+ content. Apparently content is okay as long as it's set to Members Only though. I don't want the page to get taken down, so from now on posts that used to be public, like character intros and artwork updates, will be "Members Only". They're still free though.

Next Up

Anyway, next up is Rinko's scene on Saturday, then I'll be doing Akari next week. That way v0.1.2 has 2 new characters for the monthly release like planned. After that, I should be able to stick to alternating between v0.2 characters, and then the monthly update characters. I just messed up and didn't plan things out very well at first. I should have done Rinko first, and then Freya. I just got too excited about Freya lol. It's been a pretty hectic couple of weeks, since I've had to try and condense 4 weeks worth of work into 3, so that there's a monthly update on time for June.

I've got all the characters leading up to v0.2 all planned out now (with spots reserved for poll characters), so there shouldn't be any more issues. The next poll is up to decide which existing characters get new scenes, so don't forget to go and vote for who you want to see more of! It's a little shorter than usual to make sure I can include the new scenes in July's update, so be sure to vote before it ends!
