Added 2024-05-25 15:56:50 +0000 UTCWe're now a little over 24 hours into the release of v0.1.1, and the game on itch has gotten more than 4,000 views and over 200 downloads. It even made it onto the "new and popular" page for the adult tag. I've gotten minimal negative comments so far too. So I think it's safe to say this was a pretty successful v0.1 so far. Definitely more successful than any of the past games I've tried to do, which took months to get the same numbers. Even after updates and even the game I launched complete. Waifu Wonderland has even surpassed one of them already.
So thank you to everyone who tried out the game and has been watching the project so far! It really means a lot and it's nice to see that all the hard work I put in the past 6 months has paid off. I know the game is a little bare bones and grindy right now, but I'm already hard at work making artwork for v0.1.2 and v0.2 to help expand the game, which will make it flow better. The next character will be from the lab storyline, and will be announced Wednesday, with her scene being available on Saturday. I hope you look forward to it!
Also, be sure to vote in the poll if you haven't already! Only 1 week left to vote, and it's going to help decide what direction v0.2 will go in. I have about half of the scenes planned already, and the poll is going to decide how I plan out the other half.
