Meet the last character in 0.1 - Mirai: The Real Estate Agent

This week we finally have the last character that will be appearing in v0.1 of Waifu Wonderland!

This is Mirai, she's a real estate agent.

As I've mentioned before, to progress in the game, you'll need to move out of your "landlady's" house. First by getting an apartment, then a house, and then some other stuff later. The person selling these things will be Mirai. You'll first be able to find her in the University area selling apartments.

Mirai really only cares about making a sale, and wont pay any attention to you if you don't have any money. However, she'll do anything to convince you into buying and make the sale...

Mirai is the only character who wont have a repeatable scene in the initial version. I haven't come up with a way to make her scenes repeatable and make sense yet. The plan for once you've bought all of the real estate is to be able to find her and repeat her scenes that way, and possibly have a special extra scene. Maybe even her own little storyline if she's popular enough. I'll probably do a poll about it much later on once all the real estate is in the game.

I may just add something where you can "remember" the scene inside your apartment after you buy it, but I'm not sure yet. That seems a little weird to have that option for only one character, and implementing that for every character and every scene would take a very long time and be a bit of a nightmare. Since I'd have to go back through and create new code for every single character, as well as build the area where you would select the scenes. So for now, Mirai just isn't going to be repeatable.

Mirai's Inspiration -

The inspiration for Mirai came from a game called "セックスライフ〜SEX LIFE〜" by a studio named "G.J?"
I don't know Japanese, so I don't really know what's going on, but from what I gather, you're the manager of two sisters who are idols, and Mirai is some kind of rival manager. I put her in the role of real estate agent in the original because of her professional looking attire. Since I put her in mainly just because she looked the closest to the role, I did changed quite a bit for my Mirai. I decided to give her a lighter brown hair instead of almost black brown and gave her a bun instead of the updo ponytail kind of thing the original had. I think the bun look is just more professional looking and more like what an actual real estate agent would wear.
I originally was going lean super hard into the professional look and give her a pant suit and have her undershirt buttoned all the way up, but decided against it. It didn't really fit the idea of being willing to do anything to make a sale, so I gave her a short skirt and lots of cleavage. Since her weaponizing her sexuality like this is perfectly in-line with her personality in the game. I also originally gave her the half-rim glasses like her inspiration, but I just didn't like them. So I gave her full glasses.

Since this is the last character being made for v0.1, I wanted to do something a little special. So I decided to make a timelapse of the rendering process, which is attached to the post at the bottom. I'll also be making a WIP post where I talk a bit about what I'm actually doing and why.

H Scenes Only -

From now on, all art posts are going to be scenes leading up to release. However, I'm also entering final projects for my last semester of uni next week. And of course, most of my classes are making us do big group projects. Group projects generally take up a lot more time than solo ones, so I may not have time to post every week. If there's no art post, I'll at least post an update and say what's going on though. Hopefully it doesn't end up being an issue and I can stay on schedule, but unfortunately I highly doubt it. As I outlined in the last update post, I already don't have too much time, and this project has to be the first thing I cut. My last day of class is May 7th, so at the very least, I'll be able to get back on track after that. Especially if I haven't found a day job yet, I'll have a ton of extra time at that point and plan on devoting as much of it as possible to working on projects like Waifu Wonderland.

As for what artwork is still coming, we've got:

Mirai's Foreplay scene (it'll probably be a TJ, but we'll see)
Sandy/Ivy/Valentine HJ
Sandy/Ivy/Valentine BJ
Ayako's sex scene

This is more than likely the order I'll do them in too. Mainly because I think it would be fun if the first character that was made ends up being the last scene I make for v0.1.
