2021-10-21 00:12:36 +0000 UTCThank you so much for watching this first episode! I love this anime because it's a hilarious comedy that plays with romantic tropes by going down unexpected routes. I would definitely not look at this show as a romance or a romantic comedy because the romance aspect is more of a commentary on romantic tropes you will often see in shoujo manga (which is manga aimed towards girls). That is why you felt as if you had read manga like this before- because you most certainly have.
