Being gay in a small town sucks. I’m talking about really small less-than-5000-people-in-the-area-kind-of-small. Which means exactly what you think: the Grindr grid is abysmal. The same 20 guys appear on all the apps; half of them are “straight” and married, and the other half have no interest in me. Everyone else is simply too far away to consider. I mean….I’m not going to drive 50 miles for a hookup, am I?

So I’m a 25 year old virgin. Yeah, fuck off. I can already hear all of you saying “just move to a bigger city!” like I haven’t already thought of that. The main issue is that I’ve landed a decent job, and I don’t know if I’d be able to secure another one in a bigger city easily. Anyways, that’s another subject. Welcome to the story of how I lost my virginity.
