Curriculum Update: ✨ New course: “Generative Sculptures”

Dear Creative Coders, ☀️

I hope you are doing good!

Finally the time has come and I can share a new course with you. In "Generative Sculptures" you will learn step by step how to transform any image file into a three-dimensional structure. The system I explain in detail here I've already used in projects for clients like IBM and Netflix. It's visually very interesting because it gives concrete and recognizable image subjects an exciting digital characteristic.

I am very pleased with this course! Although I had enormous difficulties with the light in my improvised video studio in my small apartment in Barcelona (which I'm sure you'll notice), but I think that's okay. But please tell me if you feel that the poor quality of the webcam bothers you.

You’ll will probably notice that the code snippets are not yet translated to p5.js yet. I need your help! If you could convert one or the other code from Processing to p5.js that would be enormously helpful. You can find instructions in the yellow box in the lessons.

Curriculum Guide 🧭

I have set up a new page to help you navigate the curriculum. You can find the link to this page in the bottom left corner of the UI.

All feedback has been included 💪

In the last months I got a lot of feedback from you, which I have now completely incorporated. Thanks to everyone who clicked the "Send Feedback" button and left me a message! That helps me enormously.

Questions to you 🙋🏻‍♂️

That was my curriculum update for this month.

Have a great week! 🙌

Comments

Hi Fabiola, thanks for your comment! 🙌 I have several drafts of new courses in the works, and I mostly work on the projects where I have a reasonably clear idea of how they should turn out. Programming Posters I haven't worked out as an online course yet because the subject feels too big for me. I'm curious what you're most interested in about the topic. What would you hope to get out of a course titled "Programming Posters"? Have a nice weekend! ☀️

What kind of course would you like to see next? Would you be interesten in making a course on programming posters?

Fabiola M
