Hello you, ☀️
I hope you are well! I’m sending you some good vibes from Barcelona!
After 3 weeks in this beautiful metropole, I have now settled in quite well here. I really like it a lot here and I will stay until mid-April. Maybe longer :-)
I had the great luck to find a wonderful coworking space (called Glashaus) with the best colleagues on this planet right away and this is my home base so to speak. Accommodation-wise, I still haven't arrived and I keep changing places. But it's also very exciting, because I always get to meet new people.
That's also the big issue for me: How do I get to know people with whom I can connect? Well, I've always been pretty good at bringing people together, so I just started a Meetup that I call Creative Coding Barcelona. It's basically meant to be nothing more than a loose gathering of people interested in Creative Coding. I made an Instagram post pointing out a WhatsApp group for the event and behold, in a flash I had 30 people in that group. One of them, Felix, with whom I visited the great light art exhibition "LLUM BARCELONA" last weekend, directly offered a great meeting space in his design studio. And so I meet with 30 people on February 23. That will be super exciting!
Other than that, here's what happened:
- I am working diligently on the book with Martin
- I'm giving the workshop "Molnar Reconstructed" at the weekend here in the CoWorking Space, so that I can also gain experience that will further the online course
- I got an offer from the design school ELISAVA in Barcelona to give a workshop there as well.
- Two conversations with great people are in the making.
- I refined the user interface of the course overview a bit.
As you can see: I enjoy life and am still busy. Somehow both belong together for me. I just love my work.
So far, I wish you a good weekend! ✌️
Tim

You should stay longer than until April! Come on! There is so much more going on in Barcelona than in Paderborn … and the weather and food are much better too!
