Road map (26/08/18)

I'm not really a fan of text only posts, but I figured I should post something just so that everybody knows what to expect from me going into the future. So without further ado, here's a simple road map of what I'm working on, what I'll be working on, and what I'd like to accomplish as soon as possible.

1) Outdoor pool scene

This is my current project. I'm about 70% through the second (and final) revision. The ultimate goal is to produce a completely self-illuminating scene (no spherical HDRI for reflections or environments) that I can use to explore any fetish-centric poses and situations I come up with. This will be a fairly complete outdoor environment, including a fully modeled pool, seating area, fencing, plants, and trees (basically a full 360° environment where it doesn't really matter which way the camera is pointing).

2) Expandable models

I'll be working on this as soon as the outdoor pool scene is done, mainly so that I can start rendering out some pinup poses while I'm busy working on making my characters inflatable. Unfortunately this isn't as simple as a mesh morph, since things like the swimsuit straps need to remain as straight (or "tight") as possible while simultaneously being able to stretch across the back and up over the shoulders (likewise, the bridge connection across the back will also need to pull up in order to really sell the appearance of the suit getting tight). At the same time, the front of the swimsuit needs to push forward and pull down, revealing more and more balloon-like cleavage as the character gets bigger and bigger. Thankfully I think I've got most of that worked out, so it's just a matter of finishing the character rigging and actually implementing said system.

3) Additional characters

Once I've got the base character foundation done and I have a decent scene to render out things in, I'll be working on introducing one or two additional characters so I can start exploring pair and group dynamics (especially in regards to expansion and/or inflation).

4) Image sequences

This was a tie for #3, so I'm not entirely sure about the ordering here. Once I've got the assets for it, I want to start producing a series of no-nonsense image packs where one or more characters is guaranteed to get inflated in some way. I'll likely land up trying to do something with Vanessa solo first, and later with any other characters I come up with (either solo or as a group).

5) Indoor pool scene

Eventually I want to build an indoor pool scene (likely recycling a fair amount of the assets and techniques I'm developing for the outdoor pool scene), which will probably be designed as an "inflation friendly" environment (quite possibly with things like ladders to get down from the ceiling, netting over the pool areas, etc).
