Project 1 - Bondage Mittens Mesh Texturing
Added 2025-10-27 08:00:03 +0000 UTCHello all, as i stated, i am working on a new projects. These are the bondage mitts, and the first thing I needed was a base. So I used Jill's mode, stripped the clothes off, and started to model. I used a basic box and then edited it around her hand. After some more time editing, I had a basic shape.
After some smoothing and edits to the Polly count, I have added enough pollys to allow me to sculpt and made details to the mittens.
This part is sculpting, which allows us to make the fabric feel more real and like a person is wearing it and would struggle inside it. The mitts can fit a person's hand inside and keep it locked up.
This part is my favourite part, the texture. I have a range of amazing textures to use, and this little test allows me to know the mesh works. The mittens can be a wide range of colours and patterns. I can have plain colours and a range of textures, so there are a ton of options here. With these ones, I have added mesh texture that allows you to see her hands inside and will be great for future ideas.
This has been a fun project. I already have ideas to make 3 versions of Mittens and use them in exciting ways. The next part is rigging and adding some movement.
