Added 2024-11-20 21:23:01 +0000 UTCI have an idea for a redesigned query system where people who currently have access to queries will be able to suggest characters and everyone else will vote for the ones they like (there are several ways to implement this idea, make voting available to everyone or only to other members who can suggest their own variants to increase their chances to get the character they want, also in that option limits can be lifted)
The classic request in that case would be availeble at the next membership level (10$ and above)
The current query system is very overloaded and also not everyone knows the characters in the queries, sometimes they are very local, I don't mind it, but it's like this way the community can go downhill over time due to people not finding what they want to see.
My job on the other hand is to give you the content you want to see and of course attract new members. And now I'm worried about that, because of the immobility of the current request system, it's hard for me to try new things and attract new members, which could lead to stagnation or a gradual decline of members who will find less and less to do, which in turn could at some point lead to the death of the community, if not the death of the community, then at least stop its growth, which will eventually lead to its death.
