All I wanted to do was write this week but it was not to be.

At the very least, I spent a ton of time getting things ready for the launch. I just didn’t think it would eat up so much time. Like, oh, that should take ten minutes… que two hours later, I’m beating my head against a wall still trying to figure things out.

I’m thankful for those who have given me suggestions and help with the next steps for the launch. Especially surrounding social media, and how to make a difference with that sort of thing.

This month is slipping through my fingers, and I know I’ll have the book in my hands so soon. Not to mention any of you who want a copy.

It still feels unreal but given how much work this is taking, I’m glad I don’t plan to release these books one after another. There will be a decent gap, or I’ll never get book 3 finished.

All that’s left in my outside garden is the squash and dahlias. They are going crazy with the wet-to-sunny weather we’ve been having. My neglected greenhouse still has a few pepper and tomato plants that I harvest veggies from as we need it, but as soon as the temperature drops too far, they will be done for the season.

Oh, I discovered a local Cat Cafe and we’ve been spending time there getting to know a few of the permanent members of the feline crew. It's been wonderful to be around cats that actually like you to pet them. I’ve never had a cat this social and its been fun getting all the cuddles from them.
