I’ve paid a deposit on a cover artist, and we will have a new cover around the beginning of August. I’ll have the rights to it and will be able to blast it all over the place.
Even better news: I’ve finished the line edit. Book 1 is now off to proofing, the last step before formatting and going to the narrator. I’m hoping to be able to set the release date and share that as soon as possible with all of you.
The bestest news: Book two draft is done. I need to tighten up the last couple of episodes still, but the words are on the page. The next target is to finish outlining book three and getting started on drafting. Book two still needs editing and such. I’m hoping to go through it and get it over to the line editor soonish.
More flowers have popped up in my garden, and it is finally starting to feel like summer. This week it’s supposed to get too hot, but that’s okay. My plants will love it. I just gotta get words done in the mornings before the heat makes my office unbearable.
Heads up - next week I will be traveling with my family. There won’t be an update on Sunday unless I find some time to squeeze it in. It just means the following week, I’ll have even more to chat about.
