I have so many things to talk about this week. Some are exciting, and one that worries me.

Good news first: Meow will have audio!

This is super exciting for me because I know several of you have been asking. It is happening and bigger-name company is producing it. I just need to get the final draft over to them. I’ll keep everyone updated on this as I can!

The second bit of good news is I got Book 1 back from the editor. My goal is to focus on this, and get it wrapped up and sent off to the audiobook folks.

With the good comes the rough. The artist I hoped to do the cover can’t fit it into their schedule. So I am frantically searching for a cover artist who does illustrated covers. I’ve reached out to a couple to get scheduling and pricing info. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE, pass along their info.

Like I have lost sleep over this and sent over 15 emails to different artists all who are either booked out till 2026 or beyond. Right now, this is the current holdup to getting a release date on the calendar for the ebook and paperback.

I did get another chapter done this week for book 2, along with three chapters edited, but the cover artist stuff has taken up so much of my time. The ending is so close I can feel it. Then I can get into the groove on Book 3.

The happy news from my garden is that the first zinnia has a flower. IT might only have thre petals but it's amazing in its own way.
