Chapter 7 entire storyboards
Added 2020-06-20 17:24:49 +0000 UTCHey peeps! Sorry for such a long time without any posts. I just moved and once I finally had time to work again, I went straight back to Kings of Nowhere. Now that I'm kinda back on schedule, I can start focusing on you lot once more!
Chapter 7 was a tough one to storyboard, and it will surely be a tough one to lay clean lines over. Half of the chapter is a car chase sequence, and the other half is an epic showdown between Bass and Jo. Physical strength vs Telekenesis.
Earlier in the chapter we get a glimpse into Bass' past, only briefly, but enough to get an idea of his earlier life. We're also introduced to Ray, a prisoner of Hookstag, who gets set free by Bass. We'll be seeing more of him.
Usually in shows, the person who can move things with their mind generally whoops the ass of any hand to hand brawler, so for this fight I had to think about tactics. As strong as Jo is through Telekenesis, there's a limit. He can be beat through physical strength, but you gotta get near him first. Luckily Bass takes note of Jo's large ears and herbivorous instincts, using his naturally good hearing and turning it into a weakness. The dialogue is broken in my storyboards, but hopefully you can follow along through imagery.

May I ask why some of the sketches are in red rather than blue?
