A short one, this week.

It's been a busy week. Sadly, most of that's been RL work-busy, with way too many long work days and little downtime for writing. Fortunately, that's over with now - back to normal next week, I think.

Consequently, writing hasn't quite been where I want it to be recently, and I haven't hit my 1k/day target in far too long. Well, until yesterday, when suddenly it all kind of opened up again and started to flow once more. I think it really was a matter of being hung up on Lamb. My brain kept fixating on that, even as I dragged it back to Constant. Fortunately, we're back where we need to be, now.

So, no word count update this week; I'll save that for next week's update. However, for all the distractions of work, I was nevertheless able to get some things done, the kind of things that I can squeeze into a ten-minute window between RL tasks. I got those PDFs of Constant formated and posted, as well as sharing the ePubs of Constant posted. Finally, I finished re-reading the first four chapters of Book 5, tweaked and trimmed, and started a complete rewrite of the encounter with Darius.

It's coming along nicely. I should have that ready to share next week.

Finally, I have to throw out a big thank you to some wonderfully kind people from the Novelty Mug Society Discord who started reading Constant and began an extensive edit of the text. Thank you, Jade Diaz, April King, and P.N. Rabia for your help. They've identified dozens--probably more, an embarrassing amount, really--of typos across the first four books, which I've since gone and corrected. So many typos! I'll be reposting the PDFs with the corrected text next week.
