The week started strong, then sort of fell of a cliff for various reasons and I fell short of my weekly target. I checked myself against last year's progress, and was surprised to find I'm about 14,000 words up on last year, which is reassuring.
In any case, I've taken the recent slump as an indication that I need a short break. I'll still write through the week; or maybe I'll just walk away from the keyboard completely--I'm not sure. But I won't be updating the Patreon until the next update, at which time it's back to business as usual.
I will be publishing Who Made the Lamb to the usual sites next weeks. Though I want to keep short fiction as Patreon exclusive, until I've built up a body of work I feel the need to get some of it out there, to hopefully tempt a few new readers in.
One thing I'd like to work on over the next week is cleaning up the Patreon. I'm aware that it's gotten a little--messy--again, especially as I've changed the structure of Constant again. It's on the to-do list, I promise, as well as publishing those earlier Books as e-pubs.
In any case, see you in a week!

Take your time as much as you need. Without a break, no one can go far enough.
