Writing Update: Holiday Ends

Well, all good things and all that, and an unusually long holiday draws to an end. It's been a good one. Caught up with a cousin I hadn't seen in twenty years. Met a few friends I'm lucky to meet once a year. Ate far too much, and drove a couple thousand kilometres. A final drive now, and an overnight flight back to reality.
So, thank you for your patience and tomorrow, jetlag allowing, I'll be bringing these fingertips back to the keyboard and getting back to writing.
After some thought, I've decided to not charge for the month of September. Truth is, I've barely written anything through August, and I feel guilty taking money during a period of low productivity. Also, a consequence of essentially taking August off is that the buffer I'd built up between what I was writing and posting has largely disappeared. I was about 30k to 40k words ahead at one point, which made updating easy. I need to rebuild that buffer, I think.
So. I'll still post updates through September and share some sneak peeks, but the focus will be on writing and pushing ahead. I'm a little worried about the work situation once I get back to the day job, but only time will tell how that plays out.
Meanwhile, thank you for your patience and understanding; more Constant and other stuff coming soon!

Sorry it's taken me a few days to reply as well! Holiday was refreshing--and more--and whilst not-working will always trump working, I suppose I'm enjoying returning to the structures of normality. SHould have more writing to share in the near future.
