Writing Update: 09/08/24 (a day late)

Well, I'd hoped to work some writing into my holiday, but between traveling, family, and catching up with people, there simply hasn't been time--or perhaps more importantly--personal space and privacy for writing.
Honestly though, I think I was pretty much due a break from writing, anyway. By my spreadsheet, I've been writing pretty much daily for a little over a year now, and was getting a bit worn down. After finishing chapter 4, I launched straight into chapter 5, made some progress - and seized up. Writers Block? Maybe. Or possibly just tired.
In any case, I'm going to take a week or two's break from writing Constant. I might try my hand at some other stuff, if space opens up. Otherwise, I'll just let the brain recover for a bit.
There won't be any interuption to service next week: I'm far enough ahead to post content, but the week after that may be a little thin. Apologies.

Yup, you've put a stellar amount of work into this for ages. Not going to begrudge you a well earned break.

2024-08-10 21:00:07 +0000 UTCWe've all been there, I'm sure. (Not the campsite; but the need to recharge.) If I have anything to say about it, take an extra day away from writing after you've returned to daily life, and do something like "go to bed early".
