Ha ha! Indeed, part 3 only comes in at 16k; it's the shortest of the three. Overall length is about 61k, though I've started trimming some of that away already.

Regarding length - I can't see that this is a long as a typical novel - it took much less than an hour for me to read and novels last much longer than that... Dumb question:- Are you measuring characters rather than words? I cut and pasted the above section into word and got 16,200 words and 75K characters (33 A4 pages) not including spaces.... Keep it up you are doing brilliantly!
