... at times, it feels a bit frustrating, a bit slow - but it's proving sustainable and achievable, which is key, I think.
I'd originally intended this to be a short chapter, about 10k words, but that seems out the window now. As I've eased back into it, the chapter's grown and I think we're probably looking at a 15-20k word chapter now.
It's an opportunity to see the story from a different PoV, and I want to make the most of that, filling in some of the details that've been lurking in the background the whole time, whilst also allowing to see the main character from outside his head.
