December 30 Updates - Big Packs Coming! (in 5 Minutes!)

 2018 is about to end. Lots of pleasant surprises and lots of disappointments, to say the least, but all in all, glad to see we made it all out alive!

Before I begin with the update...

I apologize for the lack of content at this Patreon page. Most of the updates were present at a local Discord server while the page was set up.

Needless to say, only relying on Discord is a pretty bad idea (it was for a multitude of reasons but we're not here for that). Lessons were learned.

December 30 Update!

I am now officially going to start posting here from now on, after having concluded the small SOX Special on my social circles, an event made specifically as a response to the Tumblr Purge and the sudden outrage of NSFW, sending awkward and even slight hostile vibes (yikes!) similar to the world of Shimoneta (hence the name). 

To conclude the month I have prepared something for most tiers as well as expanded content for the Premium Tiers as well from 5 minutes to January 1 (and a very, very lenghty text post for updates)!

SOX Special - To Be Expanded February 2019

In the interest of expanding on the idea though, I have decided to move the rest of the SOX Special update to February 2019 so I could better prepare for the event, so keep your eyes peeled for it!

(And I promise it won’t just be Freedom Planet stuff, sorry about that guys haha) 

Any future NSFW content will be relegated to the NSFW Package tier and the corresponding Twitter for now on!

Patreon Adjustments – December 30, 2018 (The Big One)

New Premium Discord + Scheduled Postings

Since it’s easier for me to post at the moment and due to the nature of my sleeping schedule and the job I have at this moment of writing, I have decided that from now on, all Patreon content will be scheduled ahead of time, and all of the content completed in real time will be probably posted on the Premium Discord. However, only but the full package will make it here.

NOTE:
You will no longer be required to have a Discord to access the Patreon rewards.

• There will be at least three updates a month overall for any combination of tiers, aiming for weekend updates (Friday – Sunday). This can vary per month (you will be warned in advance).

Charging Upfront

I have decided to finally charge upfront to prevent people from simply “run n gun” for the content as some people have done in the past (understandable back then due to lack of content on the page, but now it won’t be).

WARNING:
It is not advisable to pledge near the end of the month. I suggest you pledge near the beginning of the month from now on!

Standard's Early Release > Exclusive Content

Easily the most controversial change, but before I get skewered by a pitchfork, let me explain.

I want to provide the best content to you people as possible. Unfortunately, I am soon entering in a position where I need to give out a bit of extra effort to be able to give content to you guys once the year starts. Because I know that I will probably need as much input as I can, alongside future commissions and other kinds of stuff, I have decided that I will now lock some of the standard stuff to be strictly patron rewards*.

Does this mean my work will be paywalled from now on, for good? Not really. I am going to figure out the required minimum I would need to be able to get comfortable with the situation and make it that a goal. Once that goal has been reached, thanks to your efforts anything considered standard stuff* will be released over time as usual. 

* Non-Standards includes most NSFWs, Concept Art, Editables, and other special rewards within the Safe and NSFW categories, which were always Patreon Exclusives from the beginning.

Tier Changes

Finally, to reflect the new changes, the following tiers will get these changes:

Starter Pack > Standard Lite

Get the Standard Resolution of Safe Package Tier Items immediately.

Can now vote on Safe Package and  SneakyEd/FreakyEd related polls.

Standard Packages

[Both] Can vote on SneakyEd/FreakyEd related polls and only their respective tier polls. 

[Safe] Will include special item priority (Concepts / Animations / Comics / etc)

[NSFW] Will include more exclusives than SneakyEd.

Premium Bundle

Includes changes from included tiers

Will have access to limited resources (Editables / etc) (Full resources at $30/month)

Parting Words

This has been quite the big update. I really look forward to getting started once the new year drops, but until then, I will keep providing more and more updates as time goes by! A lot of lessons were learned, but hopefully from now on, a better future lies ahead!
