I don’t think Katsuki was fully present when he reached for Izuku, honestly! It’s more of a subconscious thing, and he’s more surprised about him actually doing that than about Izuku’s reaction!

I can't even pinpoint why but seeing the rings of his eyes extra defined somehow made him feel more unhinged xD Also suddenly grabbing the guy he very recently blasted in the face and then looking shocked that his touch is not well received...Katsuki, my guy....he doesn't think you're coming to make some kinda deal, he thinks you're coming to hurt him T_T
