January 16 Weekly Update
Added 2022-01-16 23:01:17 +0000 UTCMemetron romance stuff is still puttering along. She's a huge dork and I'm digging it, but as with Celica, getting it right is definitely slower work than just writing one-off scenes. I really want to cuddle with her though. And possibly lick her abs. A lot.
Whospasia art is in progress as well, will show that off when I have more to show but jfc is doing his thing.
Garrisen is doing great with the next batch of monster art as well! Once we finalize everything I'll be able to talk about it a little more, but for now I'll just say the hobs are coming out very memorable. And also weirdly handsome in their own misshapen way. Hob bro party member when?
I also (finally... pain peko) got channeled/instant abilities working; most buffs won't cost a turn to cast (and can be set to autcast in battle), but have constant mana upkeep depending on the element and the buff. So mana management will be much more meaningful, but some characters (ex. Sam) and buff-heavy builds will be significantly stronger now.
In conjunction with the trait tag system from last week, I can do even more wackadoodle stuff like traits that make buffs stronger or give you extra bonuses if you have a Strength buff.
