As I said, before modeling other things I am going to texture what I have already done

The first step is to create the UVs, and what are the UVs? Well... look at any garment that you have accessible, pants, shirt, whatever, any garment has seams, but what happens if we cut those seams? So we're going to get a bunch of pieces of fabric, fabric which is flat, you could lay out all those pieces on a flat surface separately and you could take an airbrush and paint those pieces of fabric

A texture is still an image, and this needs to be projected onto the model, but since it is 3D, the parts would overlap, that's why, as if it were a piece of clothing, you have to create "seams", those are the red lines that you see in the images, are virtual cuts that are made so that these parts can be deployed in a flat way and so when the image is projected each part has its exclusive space

You have to be careful and make the necessary cuts (the cuts are not literal, they do not destroy the model) since the seams can be noticed on the edges, so it is advisable to do as little as possible and in the most hidden areas

Once the cuts are made, in the UV section they are displayed as if they were pieces of cloth, it only remains to order the parts well, how much % of the texture is going to occupy each part of the body, the position and stuff, and now yes, to texturize!
