Hello, I want to make a publication exclusively about the eyes, since the idea is also to comment on things that may be useful, logically a Blender expert will not be interested in these things, but someone who is just starting out may find it useful, I hope so...
And I'm glad I discovered this in time, because if not, it could have given me problems
The eyes in real life have a very even circumference, and in realistic 3D models the eyes are perfect circles, the good thing about this is that when animating or posing if you rotate a perfect circle its shape will not change, it will keep the same size always
but in non-real characters this is not the case, at least most of the time, this is very noticeable in anime or cartoons, so you cannot put a perfect circle, but you cannot deform that circle to fit it either, since when animating it, those deformations will also be rotated and parts of the eye will protrude from the face or holes will be seen
So for these cases one of the solutions is a modifier, the "Lattice"
-A circle is created and positioned on the face in the best possible position and size without deforming it
-The Lattice object is added to the scene
-In object mode it moves and adjusts its size so that it encloses the circle
-The "Lattice" modifier is added to the circle and the one that is enclosing it is assigned
-Now, in editing mode, you can edit the shape of the Lattice and consequently the circle will adopt that shape, but the good thing is that being a modifier, that deformation is only an "illusion" since no matter how much it deforms the Lattice the circle will keep its properties and will continue to be a perfect circle, only it will appear not to be
With Leah's eye I didn't have to deform much, but I'm sure that in the future I will make more deformed eyes
When the Lattice is already deformed as I want, I duplicate this and the circle and rotate them symmetrically
