Shiny New Character! - Clarissa's Roommate - Background
Added 2025-02-03 04:05:52 +0000 UTCSo it seems like the majority is for a shiny new character to be (or correctly, have been) Clarissa's college roommate. We can assume Roomie doesn't live in the Bay Area in the narrative "present" but she can visit and the girls can visit her wherever she is, and we'll see her in flashbacks.
We'll so this like the last time, that was pretty fun and we got good results, I think. So Question 1, where did she come from?
Considerations: both of these are actually plenty likely, the UCs have a lot of out of state and international students, so it's really a matter of your preference. And an in-state student could live pretty far away - (for non-Americans, SF to LA is a 5-6 hour drive, the nearest town in another state - Stateline Nevada - is 4 hours away). Once we have an answer here we'll start narrowing down ethnicity and/or nationality.
