Halloween Night - the Process

The tan background on the working copies is to make sure I have all of Clarissa's skin tone done and didn't miss a spot - pretty much impossible on the default white background.
Picking the costumes was tough, and by that I mean picking two of them was easy - someone had to be Slave Leia and I wanted to draw a girl in a 60's Trek uniform, but what other Sci Fi franchise has as iconic a look? I considered Dune, but Dune doesn't have a consistent visual look. I also considered the 80s Buck Rogers, but it's largely forgotten now. And of course Aliens, but a sexy Vasquez costume is pretty close to Lyta's regular look (I considered a sexy xenomorph costume, but rejected it as impractical).
But reaching way, way back, Miyuki's original design was inspired in part by the Manga version of Battle Angel Alita, so how about that? It's Anime, but it's Sci fi. So here we are.

There's a lewd "sequel" to this coming up shortly (Monday evening, it's almost done). There aren't multiple versions, as you can see from the lineart - there's no other layer underneath
