Boxing Day Special
Added 2021-12-28 09:49:59 +0000 UTCAlternate versions of Lyta's boxing day pinup - my secret agenda for this pic was I wanted to try out a bunch of hairstyles on Lyta, and here they are!
Her default hairstyle doesn't exactly make sense in 3 dimensions, and the double part in the front means there are essentially 3 elements to her hair I have to keep to scale with each other (vs. 2 for both Miyuki and Clarissa when viewed from the front). So there's something to be said for changing it, although at the same time the short, forward sweeping bob suits her character as a no-nonsense warrior, and she's had it forever - long hair would fundamentally change her look. Also, Lyta and Selena are supposed to look just alike except for their hair, where Selena's hair reflects her more girly personality.
So what I'm kinda thinking now, is go with the single part of the shoulder length glamour style, but as a forward sweeping bob, from the side it would be an even line sweeping upward to the nape of her neck (as opposed to now, where the back of her hair is kind of a boy cut, and the bangs just end halfway, mysteriously.
I drew this without the boxing gloves initially, she looks a bit more comfortable trying to cover her nudity without them (her clothes are being held hostage by ninjas).
