I was never team Jacob tbh, but that's mainly bc I just happen to always root for endgame couples (which I'm glad that's how my mind works bc I'd hate to root for the third wheel and sob bc they'll never be with the main character lol). I did like him as an individual character and sure he's hot, but I just feel like Edward and Bella gave off more soulmate vibes while I just can't see Bella and Jacob working out in the long run, but that's just me. 😂 I think New Moon is my least favorite in the franchise (even tho there's a scene in Eclipse I absolutely HATE), but it had its moments.

I do think Kristen did look much I guess prettier as well in this movie. Jackson does look better in the next movie I think alot of them had better makeup or wigs if I remember right. So when this came out in 2009 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince also came out the same year. So they weren't that far apart from each other. I think I was a team Edward . I would say I liked new moon better only because I love learning about wolves storyline history.

2024-07-18 15:00:24 +0000 UTCOk I’ve been denying it for 16 years now (god I feel old), but I can’t deny it anymore — I love Twilight. I always claimed that I just enjoy the movies because they’re so ridiculous and fun to watch and I’m not actually a fan, but now that I’m older I think it’s time to admit to myself that I genuinely like them. Yes, they’re still ridiculous, but that’s part of what makes them so good. I still remember seeing this at the theater with my (now) husband. At the part where they’re taking their vote, the girl behind us was excitedly counting out loud and when he proposed she started clapping. It was really funny at the time. We still joke about it. This has always been my favorite of the movies. I haven’t seen the last three as many times as the first two, but I remember thinking Breaking Dawn Part 1 was by far the worst. The way New Moon looks is such an improvement over the first movie. It doesn’t have that stupid blue filter over it, so everything looks so much better. Kristen Stewart also looked so pretty. Her hair color was gorgeous. I’m so in love with the score of this movie, in particular the song that plays throughout the final scene. Back when I used last.fm, it was one of my most played songs. It really made me a fan of Alexander Desplat’s compositions. I was always team Jacob, pretty much because he’s hot 😄 When I really think about it though, I have to be team Edward. Jacob is great, but obviously she’s meant to be with Edward. Please bring Caitlyn back for the other movies! It’s so much fun when y’all react together and always hilarious. Sorry for this long ass comment 😅 I still feel like I’m forgetting some things I wanted to say.

2024-07-17 23:16:43 +0000 UTCSo I had to pause to answer your question about why Bella can be affected by Jasper's gift and Alice can see her future. It's explained a lot more in the books. All the other gifts that don't seem to effect her have to do directly with her mind (Edward & Aro's ability to read it). In the books, Jane's gift does not allow her to actually physically effect the person she is using it on, she just gets in their head and makes them think they are in pain. I hope this clears things up a bit!! Love the reaction so far 🥰
