I'm guessing she's going to California to finish the trip she started when she was 18, cause she told him she had a custom board of all the California beaches she wanted to surf but only made it to New York City then went back home cause her mom got sick.

The guy in the beginning that she was talking about people coming in and taking over was Zahn McClarnon, he's a Native American actor and he'd been in a lot of things, I loved him on Reservation Dogs(Series done fully by Native Americans) Montauk is touristy, there are a few resorts there as well. So yeah, the joke of people coming in and taking over- what others did to the original people of Turtle Island(America's original name) I loved this movie, it was very funny and yes, Jennifer Lawrence is hilarious and so beautiful. I was up way too early but glad I was up cause I enjoyed this a lot. Looking forward to more of these.
