Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1

This one was...different. Why did this one leave me feeling so uneasy?!? 🥺😕😢

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1

Dumbledore truly had the best-looking wand. And if you haven't noticed yet, Bellatrix's wand is shaped like a spider leg.

The fact that Voldemort hates muggles must come from his childhood and being abandoned by his muggle born father. Like he's a half-blood anyway.

Rhonda Stewart

I was so confused during those scenes... I hadn't seen them before..

I'm late on this because I was away and then sick for a week - but wow, that was crazy to watch again with you. I don't think I've actually rewatched it since I saw it in the theatre. You're right in that the cuts are really weird - I'm sorry they made you paranoid that you were missing things. One tip, when you're uncertain, is that you can usually look up official movie run-times, and then you can check that the stream you have is the correct length. The "glass" Harry is holding through the whole film was something that he got in Book 5, but that they didn't realize was important so they didn't put it in the fifth movie - but it's a piece of a mirror that used to allow him to have conversation with whomever was holding it's pair. So, basically, Harry had a mirror, and Sirius Black had a twin mirror - and they could talk to and see each other through the mirror.... when Sirius died, Harry was furious at himself for forgetting about the mirror when he could have used it and avoided the whole fiasco, so he shattered it. In Book 7, he carries around the broken piece just to like, torture himself by looking at it, and he eventually starts seeing a "familiar" eye in it. The book has a lot of reading in it - which isn't as fun to dramatize. Basically, the first half of the book is Harry and the gang reading about Dumbledore's history, and researching what the horcruxes might be, and learning about the deathly hallows - all while camping and getting increasingly pissed off at each other. In the movie, that kind of just translates to them doing "nothing" but wandering the countryside.... which is an odd choice.

this was the weirdest cut of the movie I have seen 😅 both the scenes with Ron and Harry "play-fighting" in the forest and Ron teaching Hermione to throw rocks were not in the theatrical release version or any other version I've seen and the way they incorporated them is so strange and out of place because they literally shoved in the middle of another scene I get why people recommended watching it on Peacock for the extra scenes, but personally, I think the theatrical version is better as it is edited the way the director intended and flows more naturally, plus it doesn't have those annoying fadeouts

I hadn't seen this one before. I also felt uneasy, most of the movie for me but especially during the traveling part. And I had thought I was going to be able to relax while watching this after work lol

I loved your reaction again. I can´t wait for the last part and see how they will wrapped it up. This part is also not my favorite. still liked it though.

Wathing Harry Potter with you make me sentimental so I rewatch twilight and gril this is crazy how ridiculous it is and how this was even allowed back then. I don't know if you watched that series or would like to rewatch but i would love to see your reaction to this insanity

Dobby was actually always around in the books but the movies they gave his lines to other characters. The movie does this all the time, writing out whole characters or giving their parts away Hermione obliviated her parents, made them forget she ever existed, she wanted to protect them "The wand chooses the wizard" You will never get the same results with someone else's wand, you can use another's wand of course, but the results may be iffy or the wand could resist you. You can win a wand's allegiance if you defeat the owner in a duel or something similar No, 5 - the end had all the same director, they purposely chose to make it uncomfortable to make us feel it, how things are different under Voldemort's rule The glass Harry is constantly holding is a shard of the mirror Sirius gave him. It was something Sirius and Harry's dad had, they used it to chat to each other like a phone. Sirius gifted it to Harry in Book 5 but it broke at the end, Harry carries it around in remembrance Grindlewald was the Dark Lord before Voldemort, very much the wizard version of Hitler. He terrorised Europe and is considered one of the worst Dark Lord's of all time. He and Dumbledore were close as teens, both as friends and as something more (Rowling has confirmed that Dumbledore was gay). Grindlewald is also the Dark Lord that Dumbledore is famous for defeating in 1945 The Trio are just kids and Dumbledore's instructions were vague and confusing. They really do have no clue what they are doing or where they should go I've been dying for ages to say something every time you mention you like Dumbledore's wand! This book is dark, really dark, I would never let a child read this. You aren't meant to like it, the world has changed and this is how it is for them now It was a knife, not a wand. It's what she used to carve up Hermione's arm One left!

I always use peacock to watch harry potter so I know you are not missing anything. peacock actually has the versions with extra scenes. To be honest I actually recommend rewatching 1-6 on peacock. to see the extra scene that help make somethings make more sense.

I thought it was odd too I haven't watched Harry Potter on peacock I looked it up. this version is the one they use for TV. It's faded to go to commercial. You aren't missing anything that they didn't show in the actual movie. I know you can rent it on prime or i think apple tv if you can't find a free version. *oh I got to the part where you think this is a tv version 😂

Bill Weasley is the first born son of Molly and Arthur .During the summer Fleur secured a part-time job at Gringotts. It was then that she was reacquainted with Bill Weasley, who had returned from Egypt and taken a desk job to help the Order of the Phoenix, and the two began dating. Charlie is the second oldest who works with the dragons . I believe they never shown what he looks like in the movies. It goes in order Weasley children - Bill Charles Percy Fred & George Ron Ginny

https://youtu.be/jzkDRz8quKo?si=_mtyTOStBKl5LxTc This was a deleted scene from 15:55 of Harry and dudley I kind of wish they kept. It kind of shows after the whole dementor attack harry saving dudley meant something . It was kind of a growth on dudley's character.
