Just wanted to pop in with a quick update... the most recent Microsoft update (early last week) did something to my computer and affected a couple of my recorded videos. Over the last week I have been trying to figure out what changed all of a sudden for my recorded reactions to randomly stop playing and freezing and we have narrowed it down to the Microsoft Update I did last week. My livestreams were not affected, it was just my recorded videos. I first noticed it on my EXO Planet #1 (part 2) upload to Patreon last week and when trying to get our BTS In The Soop S2 E1 reaction up yesterday I ran into the same problem... The video just freezes after a certain point. Like, the video is still there if I skip past the problem part but then it will random shut down and say it cannot play the video. It is so frustrating because I can see the entire reaction was recorded, it is just not playing it all the way through without interruptions and shut downs.
Caitlyn and I spent hours tonight trouble shooting multiple different ways and trying various things and we believe we have fixed the problem going forward but we still have those two Patreon recordings that were affected.
The good news is I should be able to salvage the 2 reactions I mentioned that had the problem BUT it is going to take many hours of editing. So for the EXO video, once I fix it I will replace the prior link with a new one and all should be good. I will also get our BTS In The Soop S2 E1 reaction out to you all as well but this one will take the most work to re-screen record, fix and edit since it is over and hour and a half long. But I cannot wait for you to see our reactions to that first episode because we were struggling! lol
I don't know why electronics hate me so much but I am so over things messing up and causing me hours of extra work!! I will be working on these both this week, thank you all for being patient while I try fixing this! Caitlyn and I should be recording Seventeen In The Soop tomorrow and if all goes well and the problems were fixed, we should be able to upload it with no issues!! Wish us luck!
