POV: You're skulking around in the photography workshop when the resident art punk startles you...
CW: This episode depicts a moody speaker character who is sometimes harsh / insulting toward the listener character (e.g. mocking their aesthetic and telling them to "shut up") and sometimes aggressively flirtatious. He offers the listener character a camera in exchange for modeling for him. He also asks if he can cut off their clothing with scissors and deliberately uses shocking / sexual language (censored) to make their pupils dilate. During the photography session, the speaker character poses and models the listener character while praising and objectifying them. I’ve always been compared to dark chocolate etc. but I’ve been jealous of someone with eyes green as an emerald or blue as the deep ocean. But when mine are in the sun, I can see those flecks (and burn my eyes lol) It’s a very lovely description that makes me think differently. Happy late birthday, DDA!! ty for your work! 🫶 🥀

Can't remember what camera I used, but I do remember that developing the film was a whole ordeal, and the dark room was fun! I read Sontag's Illness as Metaphor in university. I had to relisten a couple of times, so I could shake the etch-a-sketch image out of my head. Now that I have, I'm super grateful that the Listener was EMPOWERED throughout. I love that they were smart and sassy and brave and ultimate very confident. I'm crazy impressed that you managed to make an eye to eye/face to face kissing session so quietly intimate. It really did kind of feel like a voyeur moment for me. I hopefully have learned my lesson: DDA knows what he's doing. ❤️
