Anyway, I know my work has drifted toward realism over the last year, so I thought I'd take it back to basics: A tropey villain with an unabashedly carnal agenda and some decidedly unorthodox pedagogical techniques. POV: You're late to the final exam. It's just you and the arrogant, domineering professor who will personally oversee your test. But it quickly becomes clear that today, something is different. He's onto you, and the bratty little game you've been playing. And he's going to put a stop to it.
CW: This episode portrays a consensual romantic & sexual dynamic between a university faculty member and a student. The dynamic is dominant-submissive, with the speaker character (dominant) attempting to "tame" the bratty, submissive listener character. This is a consensual power contest in which the listener character enjoys rebelling against the speaker character's efforts to dominate them. I was lost for half of the audio bc I wasn’t sure on what position the listener was in. So I felt like an outsider until the speaker turned the listener around. Sadly, I couldn’t get myself into this audio but there were a couple things I noticed. You did something different with your voice. It sounded deeper and lower than usual. You only spoke in a slightly higher pitch once and then went back to the very low, deep voice. I would have to commend you for consistently keeping your voice in that deep tone. Not only that but even your tone sounded different…kinda cold and monotone—which says a lot about this character. You got skills and talent, and I appreciate your hard work. Another thing I noticed was that you usually take your breaths in quick pants but for this one, you intentionally took your time and took slower, raspy breaths which elongated the buildup to the final release. I just thought I’d share this as I find it very interesting. You stayed in character, and that’s amazing. I enjoy listening to how your characters play out.

A lot of my work in the last six months has been heavy on the emotional / interpersonal realism (which I think creates the 'intimacy' you're referring to). Your work has a penchant for lovingly and firmly shutting off my brain and getting me into my body. Snarky, eloquent comebacks to almost everything you said were popping out of my mouth without missing a beat until I got fully immersed in the scene. It was wholly cathartic. That being said, even amid this bratty bliss, I want to note that this audio felt more akin to an incontestably fantastic erotic audiobook narration than the deep, nourishing direct connection I’ve come to receive and appreciate so much from your work—pun absolutely intended. As things heated up, the familiar feeling of intimacy did return somewhat, but nowhere near what I’ve come to anticipate. I don’t know what you did differently for this one if at all, and it was still great, it just threw me for a loop until I found my footing. I was initially hesitant to openly share my authentic response to this particular audio, 1) because your audios as a whole are irrefutably in a glorious league of their own in the world of audio creators, and 2) I know it’s very possible that the general impersonal nature of the character you played simply touched on some wounding that could very well be the whole reason for why this audio hit very differently for me. I hope the aforementioned litany comes across as authentic sharing and awareness, not criticism. Your audios are not only helping me to unearth, learn, and precisely refine what I do and don’t like, they are helping me come to terms with--and revel in—just how shamelessly sexual of a woman I inherently am.
