was a bit cringey to hear yall misunderstand this so aggressively. The point is that the argument against billionaires exists across racial lines. Their wealth does not βtrickle down.β Itβs hoarding and does little to absolutely nothing to advance the position of Black folks overall. Being rich enough to put a few people on when he has enough wealth to redistribute to bring ENTIRE communities up (including his former own) isnβt the flex he thinks it is. Itβs also worth noting that capitalism quite literally necessitates the suffering of Black and brown people (esp in the global south). With such a large platform, Iβm disappointed in how carelessly yβall handled this topic. You donβt have to agree of course, but there seems to have been little effort put into actually understanding.
