Grady, played by Bennet Guillory [Suge's husband], was not a 'bad' representation of the Black man. He accepted Suge [played by Margaret Avery] as she was and embraced who she was becoming. He covered her without smothering her and did not allow her free-thinking spirit to intimidate him.
