I totally loved this drama. And I am glad you liked it too. I liked that open ending and the epilogue that is open to interpretation. My interpretation being that it Dr Choi, and not Alan, who was approaching at the end. Alan already has a successful career in the US. But for Dr Choi, his public life is gone as he is now a wanted man. Doing underground surgeries is the only thing he had left- just like Seok. I absolutely loved Park Eun-bin in this drama. Undoubtedly the best performance of her career - on par with Attorney Woo. The only other actress I can imagine in this role is Shin Hye-sun.

It is like entirely different actress. While I loved the series overall, I found the ending a little anti-climatic. But after she said she just wanted for him to see her do surgery seeing her smile behind the mask I thought was great.
