2025-02-26 22:19:50 +0000 UTCYes, El can't fully articulate herself. But the reason is a bit complicated, you'll learn about it in future episodes. While Lucas is always mean to El, I think it actually benefits his character because in this scenario, we see all three boys have a different approach to El. Mike is more understanding and sympathetic, Dustin is neutral but not judgmental while Lucas is very cautious and doesn't let his guard down about anything. This differentiates them more. Last thing, I think this season alongside season 4 are the best. But something about the story of season one is so amazing, it's just perfectly written. This show could've been just one season (but I'm glad it's not cause season 1 doesn't even tell 10% of the story)
