Hellooo!! Hope you had a lovely weekend! It’s been awfully hot these last days~ (aaand I forgot to take my water bottle, so one sec…)

My work days have been pretty sluggish, I guess it’s the heat~ but I had so many things to do and got so little done.

Howeeeveeer~ I managed to solve one issue I had while creating patterns on Procreate. It was a bit buggy and didn’t respond as expected, making it impossible to do tiny seamless patterns, but finally after 2 days struggling I can make perfect Pixel Art patterns! Meaning that NEXT BRUSH PACK IS ALL ABOUT PIXEL ART!! 💖

So as I was saying, I’m working on a Pixel Art brush pack for Procreate. I have to see if I can use the patterns I’m creating also on Photoshop. If they work I might make the same brushes there too, but Procreate is my priority right now.

My idea is to create a bunch of lovely textures inspired by Game Boy games. There are different pixel art styles and my favourites have always been those, not so much the big canvas-style ones. Although pretty, I find that the smaller the better. You can do so much in just a 16x16 canvas 😭✨✨

That’s why I’m creating a variety of dithers, materials, tiles and of course brushes!

I’m extremely happy with how the textures are coming out! The only ones left are the material brushes and the art for the cover, etc.

On the other hand, because of that, I haven’t been able to draw almost anything… but I hope you like these tiny sketches~ Japanese food is always a great source of inspiration ☺️ and toast, you can’t go wrong with toast. Cute for drawing, better for breakfast! 🤣

Also this week I need to prepare this month’s tutorial! I’ll do my best to have it as soon as possible! I’ve decided to make the How to Draw with Markers first. It won’t be the only markers tutorial I do, but it’ll be the foundation with all the basic things you need to know! ☺️
