Hello!! 💖 I’ve got a bunch of pages to share with you! Lately I’ve been drawing way more than usual, and honestly, it’s all thanks to you.
Knowing I’ve got people waiting for my stuff keeps me so much more motivated, and that’s exactly what I was hoping for💕
The pages you’ll see show how I actually work. Some look super polished, while others are messier and full of color swatches all over the place.
Even when I already know what colors I want to use, I like to swatch them all together. It helps me double-check that I’m not messing things up and also build a mental color palette, especially when there are parts I’m still unsure how to color.
Sometimes, if I’m not liking how a drawing is turning out, I just leave it and move on or try it again.
The drawings that look more orange-red are the ones I consider finished and ready for color. I use those colors simply because I love how they look. Drawing with three pencil colors makes everything feel more alive, and they look great even without being fully colored in.
As you can see, I often draw the Pokémon twice because, even if they look pretty similar, I like to try drawing them again without looking at the reference. Sometimes I also make little changes to fit them more into my style.
I hope you find these little explanations useful! 🙈💖
Also! Let me know if you want to see any of the drawings colored!
