Hi!
As you can see, I’ve changed the format. This one makes it easier to see all the details. Since reels are vertical, I can’t really make it fit the regular format without it looking bad. Let me know which one you like better! :))
Soon I’ll be uploading a complete swatch list of all my markers, so you’ll have a handy reference for which color is which!
In this drawing, I actually wanted to draw an open tomato, but I’m not sure how to make it look good with the red markers I have. As you can see these look awful 🤣 I'll keep trying!

Red tones are, for me, the hardest ones to use. They’re too saturated, and the range of shades isn’t great unless you include oranges. That also makes shading tricky because you can easily end up with very harsh, dark shadows if you’re not careful :')
Also, drawing tiny sketches is not useful for this kind of practice. It doesn’t really help me figure out how to blend or layer the colors properly, because at this size (about 1 inch) it’s hard to avoid bleeding and poorly mixed tones.

Tools I used:
Sketchbook: Talens Art Creation
Markers: OLO markers and Copics
Pencil colors: Polychromos
